At the same time, we want to make clear that Phonemica is creating apublic good:

So why do we need you to transfer rights to us, if we're just going tomake the content freely available? Because we're not lawyers and wecan't afford them. We can't run the risk of legal action. So it's a lotcleaner if we have ownership and then permit other people to use thecontent.
